Sheku

Sheku is an up and coming artist from Maryland and currently located in Calgary, Alberta. His music draws from EDM and hip-hop to create an abrasive head-banging production underneath thoughtful and introspective lyricism.

The goal of Sheku’s music is to bridge the gap between electronic dance music and hip-hop, injecting these elements of electronic creativity into the black community. “I wanna see ravers. I wanna see headbangers. I wanna see black people going crazy with drops created by a black person.”
